All 18 districts were equipped with mobile refuelling systems worth €85,000 in order to ensure operational readiness in the event of a blackout, but also for longer-lasting large-scale operations. Each of these systems has a capacity of 450 litres and is now available in every district and can be easily transported to the deployment site.
"This makes work much easier for the emergency services and saves a lot of time if the refuelling station arrives at the scene as soon as their own supply is no longer sufficient," explained LBDSTV Michael Hutterer at the presentation.
