18 district and 50 section fire brigade commanders in Upper Austria, who were elected in a previous election process, thus confirmed the path taken by Robert Mayer, who was also elected President of the Austrian Federal Fire Brigade Association during his first term of office.
Training and further education continue to be central tasks.
Robert Mayer and his re-elected deputy Michael Hutterer are convinced that the tasks, which are becoming more and more extensive in every respect, can only be mastered to everyone's satisfaction with a high level of personal commitment from each individual and with the highest level of qualification.
Developing organisational structures together.
Changing and expanding tasks also require ongoing optimisation of the fire service structure. The President is convinced that the organisational framework can only be developed jointly in order to create ideal conditions for all those working in the fire service. In the future, cooperation at all levels throughout the country will continue to be the guiding principle in the further development of the existing five-year strategy in order to keep the fire service fit for the future.
