For 22 children from Austria, a long-awaited dream could soon come true - to accompany one of Europe's top footballers onto the pitch in front of an audience of tens of thousands of fans for once in their lives.
Lidl makes dreams come true
Over 1,100 children from all over Europe have the opportunity to be part of the UEFA EURO 2024 matches as run-in children. Regardless of gender, origin or physical and mental abilities, parents have been able to nominate their children aged 6 to 10 for the Lidl Kids Team since March 2024. This nomination is easily made via the Lidl Plus app.
The winners are then selected by lot to ensure that all participants have an equal chance. But that's not all: in addition to the unique experience of being a run-in kid, Lidl will also cover all the costs of travelling to UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany, so that every child really does have the chance to take part in this unforgettable event.
