A seal of quality for outstanding training
The INEO Prize is an award for innovation, sustainability, commitmentand orientationand is presented to exemplary training companies that provide young people with professional, appreciative and future-orientated training. The seal of quality recognises companies that are characterised by high quality standards, individual support, clear values and excellent supervision of their apprentices. Companies that carry the INEO prove that they take responsibility and actively contribute to giving young people the best possible starting conditions for their professional careers.
How Banner empowers its apprentices
The Austrian battery manufacturer was recently honoured with the INEO. Banner Batterien has been consistently investing in the training of its junior staff for decades and has significantly expanded its programme in recent years. For example, additional apprenticeships have been created and a modern training workshop has been opened, which optimally prepares technical apprentices and trainees for practical work. Rotations every six months provide comprehensive insights into the entire company, allowing commercial apprentices to understand processes, interfaces and interrelationships from the ground up.
The training programme is constantly being developed further: Specialist workshops (e.g. Cash & Job, modern etiquette), English courses, e-learning modules on security, data protection or Office 365 as well as training on battery construction or environmental awareness offer a wide range of professional and social skills.
Supervisors and HR management are on hand to provide close support in the event of academic or professional challenges. An open dialogue with parents and vocational schools ensures that apprentices continue to progress successfully, even in difficult phases. Particularly valuable: the apprentices not only learn technical skills, but also grow together as a team through joint leisure activities and discussions with the management. Many of them start a long-term career in the company after their apprenticeship.
