Safety in the workplace. More than just regulations.

Safety in the workplace is far more than just compliance with legal requirements. It is the basis for motivation, trust and long-term success. People who feel protected and valued in the workplace work with greater concentration, are healthier and contribute to a positive working atmosphere. Modern companies know this: Investments in occupational health and safety pay off many times over in the form of fewer absences, higher productivity and, above all, satisfied employees.

But security does not just happen by itself. It requires awareness, knowledge and clear structures. This is precisely where the Austrian battery manufacturer Banner comes in with a comprehensive concept that ranges from ergonomic workstations and prevention to targeted training in occupational safety.

Banner invests in the health and protection of its employees

The well-being and safety of its employees is a top priority for Banner. This is why the company not only focusses on modern workplaces and health-promoting measures, but also on targeted training and prevention.

Werner Töpfl, CEO at Banner, confirms: "Safety and health in the workplace are not an obligation for us, but a central element of our responsibility. We create an environment in which our employees feel safe and can carry out their work with confidence and motivation."

A central component of this is the training of company first aiders. In regular basic first aid courses and refresher training sessions organised by the Samaritans or the Red Cross, volunteer employees learn how to act quickly and correctly in an emergency. From recognising emergency symptoms and using the defibrillator to realistic case studies, they are comprehensively prepared for emergency situations.

Banner is particularly pleased to welcome one of the company's own paramedics to its ranks. Having completed his training with the Red Cross, he is now available to all colleagues as a competent contact person in the event of medical emergencies and thus also supports occupational medicine in providing first aid and coordination in the event of an emergency.

#It is #schongenial that responsibility and care for employees are firmly anchored in the corporate culture of many companies in Austria.
