The Red Cross was particularly impressive in the categories ‘Social and Community Contribution’ and ‘Workplace Atmosphere’, in which it took first place in each.
Working with passion and prospects
For the study conducted by the Linz-based Market Institute, more than 2,500 employees across Austria were surveyed. The assessment covered, amongst other things, working conditions, well-being, reputation and future-readiness.
The Red Cross, in particular, demonstrates that social benefit and modern working conditions are not mutually exclusive. Across Austria, several thousand staff members are involved in a wide variety of areas. In Upper Austria alone, more than 2,100 full-time staff and over 25,000 volunteers carry out valuable work every day – ranging from emergency services and nursing and care to training, administration and health services.
As well as carrying out meaningful work, employees benefit from flexible working arrangements, a wide range of training and development opportunities, and attractive career paths.
A strong signal for the future
The award highlights a clear trend: more and more people are seeking a career that not only offers security but also makes a positive contribution to society. The Red Cross combines precisely these values with a modern working environment and attractive development opportunities.
#schongenial warmly congratulates the Red Cross on this award.
