Best Employer, Market Institute, MARKET Quality Award

Salzburg AG has once again been recognised as one of the best employers in the province of Salzburg. In the current study by the Market Institute, which annually assesses the attractiveness of employers, the company achieved third place among Salzburg's leading companies with 379 points.

Apprentice training in 1st place

Salzburg AG's apprenticeship training was particularly emphasised, taking first place. This top rating emphasises the high value the company places on training young skilled workers. Salzburg AG was also ranked first in the category of job security, which emphasises the reliability and stability of the company as an employer.

Michael Baminger, CEO of Salzburg AG, expressed his delight at the award: "We are delighted to have been honoured with the MARKET Quality Award and to have once again been placed on the winners' podium of Salzburg's leading companies. This recognition shows that we are on the right track with our six ambitions. Our goal is to become the best employer so that we can attract and retain motivated employees for our company."

Regional strength and fitness for the future

In addition to working conditions and the well-being of employees, the Market Institute's study also assesses factors such as regional relevance, reputation and future fitness of the companies. In the "Regional relevance" category, Salzburg AG achieved third place with 78 points, directly behind SPAR and Red Bull. In the sub-category "Job creation" in particular, the company was able to secure second place, just one point behind the first-placed company.

Focus on sustainability

Salzburg AG also scored highly in the "Ecological and sustainable contribution" category, coming in second place. This reflects the company's commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. In the "Future fitness" category, especially in the sub-category "Growth intentions and innovative strength", Salzburg AG is also one of the leading companies, which emphasises its willingness to innovate and future orientation.

Energy transition as a clear goal

Herwig Struber, CEO of Salzburg AG, emphasised the importance of investments for the future: "Our goal is to continue to be a pioneer in terms of energy transition and green energy generation. With investments totalling around EUR 342 million for 2025, we are focusing on a green future, which is also anchored in our Decarbonizer ambition."

The continuous recognition as one of the best employers in Salzburg confirms Salzburg AG's successful strategy, which focuses on regionality, sustainability and digitalisation. These factors play a key role in ensuring that the company is perceived as a responsible and credible employer and is able to attract and retain motivated employees.
