Not only the technical innovation was celebrated, but also the regional cohesion. The family-owned company is thus emphasising its long-term commitment to the region and at the same time strengthening its international competitiveness.
The new system stands for state-of-the-art technology "Made in Upper Austria": it enables precise control of the metal layer down to two nanometres at a speed of 1,000 metres per minute. This precision leads to higher product quality and reduced material consumption. A double benefit for economic efficiency and the environment. Automatic quality controls ensure the highest standards in production.
Sustainable technology and secure jobs
Parallel to the construction of the plant, the production area was expanded by 400 square metres. Hueck Folien is thus not only creating new capacity, but also strengthening long-term job security in the region. Greater automation and targeted energy savings will also significantly improve the ecological footprint.
"Baumgartenberg is not just our production site - it is the heart and brain of Hueck Folien," emphasises Christoph Steger, CEO of Hueck Folien GmbH. "With the new vapour deposition plant, we are strengthening our technological leadership and securing regional jobs. At the same time, we would like to use this celebration to say a big thank you to our employees. They have played and continue to play a key role in the company's 55-year success story."
Such investments are #schongenial because they show that economic strength, technological innovation and ecological responsibility go hand in hand and make a location fit for the future.
