A look behind the scenes
The focus is not only on the firefighters' operations, but above all on their preventive measures and their cooperation with other organisations. From equipment and training to communication, all aspects of the fire service are highlighted. Visitors have the opportunity to watch film clips of interviews with firefighters, use interactive elements and find out about the role of each individual in disaster prevention and response.
The exhibition is aimed at people of all age groups, but especially at young people, who play a special role as those responsible for and affected by future developments. The variety of exhibits, ranging from large monitors and touchscreens to symbolic fire stations, presents the topic in a vivid and informative way.

Since its foundation in 1984, the Fire Brigade Museum in St. Florian has developed into an important institution that not only documents the technical development of the fire service, but also contributes to the education and awareness of the population. The special exhibition "CLIMATE.WEATHER.FIRE DEPARTMENT - on changing tasks" is another milestone on this path and invites all interested parties to engage with this important topic.
