Top award for lived values

Ordensklinikum Linz, Top employer, Trend

When humanity meets cutting-edge medicine, the result is a working environment that inspires: the Ordensklinikum Linz was once again recognised as one of the top employers in the Austrian healthcare sector - a strong sign of a corporate culture that is lived on an equal footing.

Every year, the renowned business magazine "trend", together with Statista and the career network Kununu, honours the best 300 female employers in Austria. Among other things, teamwork, appreciation and an active employee culture are assessed - all aspects that are not only part of the mission statement at the Ordensklinikum Linz, but are tangibly lived in everyday life.

"We are delighted to receive this award again, as it shows that we are on the right track: We are on the right track.

Our approximately 3,950 employees not only find modern medicine at the highest level, but also a working environment in which respect, openness and cooperation are practised",

say the two managing directors MMag. Walter Kneidinger and Dr Stefan Meusburger.

#teamordensklinikum - living community

Since the Elisabethinen and Sisters of Mercy merged to form the Religious Hospital in 2017, the focus has been on joint development. Changes are organised transparently and employees are actively involved and supported. Team spirit is not a buzzword, but an everyday reality - tangible at celebrations, company outings, health days and through a wide range of activity programmes.

Special attention is paid to psychological support for all employees - even beyond professional concerns. For this comprehensive commitment to workplace health promotion, the Ordensklinikum was also awarded the BGF seal of approval in 2024.

Another success shows that the Ordensklinikum not only impresses as an employer, but also in patient care: in Newsweek magazine's "World's Best Hospitals" ranking, it is one of the best 250 hospitals in the world - in 155th place. This once again shows that medical excellence and humanity are not mutually exclusive - on the contrary.
