The importance of the craft awards for Upper Austria

The awards provide a platform for recognising and promoting regional craft businesses. The aim of the event is to highlight the versatility and enormous potential of the skilled trades in Upper Austria and to emphasise the achievements of the businesses. Every year, the best of the best are honoured in the following four categories:

  • Innovation & Digitalisation
  • Cooperation & Teamwork
  • Sustainability & Ecologisation
  • Tradition & Modernity

Raiffeisenlandesbank Upper Austria as a strong partner

Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich plays a central role as the main sponsor of the competition. Companies like this make it possible to offer the companies a stage to put their achievements and innovative strength in the spotlight.

General Director Dr Heinrich Schaller emphasises: “Upper Austria as a business location is shaped by trade and craft businesses. They are stable employers in the region and their products and services are of the highest quality. These companies epitomise tradition and diversity. But they are also trailblazers for our economy, as they often combine their many years of expertise with exciting innovations.”

High quality of submissions impresses jury

The quality of the submissions was once again exceptional this year. Numerous companies presented innovative approaches that combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technologies. The jury found it difficult to make a selection, as many projects impressed with their creative and sustainable ideas, demonstrating the strength and diversity of Upper Austrian craftsmanship.
