For four generations, Zellinger, a family-run business, has been synonymous with modern waste and resource management in Upper Austria. Glass is turned back into glass, paper is given a new lease of life, and metals and plastics are processed into new products. This saves energy, reduces CO₂ emissions and strengthens the supply of valuable raw materials.

Sustainability requires innovation

At the company’s own ÖKO-Park, biogenic waste is converted into renewable energy in a biogas plant. The electricity and heat generated are then fed into further processes, demonstrating how valuable energy is created from waste. In this way, Zellinger combines environmental responsibility with economic efficiency and consistently advances the circular economy.
