Since the beginning of 2025, the OHM orientation has provided companies with an overview of how competently health and safety issues are already being dealt with.
The BGM assessment as a first step
The OHM assessment enables companies to determine the status quo of their occupational health measures. The process consists of two steps: Firstly, companies carry out a check together with a BGM consultant. The results are then analysed in a consultation and specific recommendations for further steps are made.
If required, the responsible counsellors (from AUVA, ÖGK, the BGF network or fit2work integration counselling) will contact the companies within a few days of the BGM check.
The service is aimed at managers, HR managers and others responsible for health and safety in the company. As an alternative to making an appointment directly, interested parties can take part in information events to find out more about BGM and gain an initial overview of possible measures.
Advantages for companies
The fit2work BGM orientation programme offers companies structured support:
- Professional support: Experienced consultants are on hand to assist companies.
- Personalised recommendations: Measures are tailored precisely to the needs of the company.
- Events with added value: In addition to information, there are opportunities for dialogue and networking.
Importance of BGM
Systematic health management brings benefits for both employees and companies. It helps to minimise absences due to illness, boost productivity and increase job satisfaction. At the same time, it can contribute to improving the working atmosphere and the external perception of the company.
Further information
For companies interested in the topic, the BGM orientation is a non-binding introduction to health promotion in the workplace. All details about the programme, registration and information events are available at fit2work.at or you can send an email to bgm-orientierung@fit2work.at
With the BGM orientation, companies can plan targeted measures to promote health and safety in the workplace in the long term.
