A decisive boost finally came in 2014, when the Executive Board was reorganised and cooperation with the Hochreiter Group was significantly intensified.
Promotion, youth development and sporting milestones
What followed was an unrivalled success story. The team quickly made the leap from the last division to the LT1 Upper Austrian League, the highest amateur league in Upper Austria. At the same time, a second team was founded, in which young talents from Bad Leonfelden gain valuable match practice. With an average age of just 18, this team was promoted to the 1st division last season.
Today, Sportunion Bad Leonfelden looks after around 150 children in its youth programme: a credit to dedicated and well-trained coaches as well as the structural possibilities that were only made possible by sponsorship. The positive sporting development is also confirmed: the first team achieved the runner-up autumn championship title in the most recent autumn season, while the second team finished third in the higher league at the first attempt. This makes the current year one of the most successful in the club's history.

All these successes would be unthinkable without the long-standing support of the Hochreiter Group. The partnership not only ensures financial stability, but also creates planning security, professionalism and a strong sense of identification within the region. "As a company rooted in Bad Leonfelden, it is particularly important to us to promote youth and sport in our region.
