In Tux in the Zillertal, they combine skiing with intensive seminars to promote in-depth dialogue and creativity.
A flight of thought
The meeting aims to solve one of the greatest mysteries of physics: the unification of quantum physics with the general theory of relativity, the two cornerstones of modern physics in the 20th century. While Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity describes the universe on a large scale, from the galaxies to the Big Bang, its application to microscopic scales remains incompletely explored. A central aim of the conference is to explore the processes before the Big Bang and inside black holes.
Conference experience in the Tyrolean mountains
In the mountain landscape of Tux (PLEASE AGREE WITH THE COMMUNITY OF TUX) in the district of Schwaz, the brightest minds in physics will come together to exchange ideas and explore new research perspectives. While the afternoons are spent with workshops and lectures in the seminar room, the participants use the mornings for skiing excursions.
The informal atmosphere away from the conference rooms offers physicists the opportunity to discuss scientific theories and inspire each other away from the classroom. In this unique environment, not only new friendships are formed, but also fruitful collaborations that transcend national borders and can lead to groundbreaking research projects.
