OPEN-AIR-FEELING IN LEONDING: Klangplatz concerts on the town square

The Klangplatz concerts are an integral part of Leonding's cultural programme and take place on five consecutive Fridays with free admission on the town square. The bands on offer range from Austro-pop to rock to boogie & blues, providing the best entertainment in the centre of the city with their music. In case of bad weather, the concerts take place in the atrium.

"Jonny Comet & The Rockets" on Friday, 26 July: Jonny Comet and his rockets play groovy rock'n'roll and rockabilly music at its finest. The band also interprets songs from the pop-rock genre in the sound of the fifties.

"Fields of Joy" on Friday, 2 August: This band impresses with honest and pure musical craftsmanship. The accomplished musicians captivate the audience time and time again with their wide-ranging international programme and a lot of emotion.

"Menage a trois" on Friday, 9 August: For more than 25 years, the three Styrians Christian A. Rauch (guitar & vocals), Matthias Köck (keyboard & vocals) and Ewald Gaulhofer (drums & vocals) have been touring the "stages of this world" with their Austropop programme and are now also coming to Leonding.
