Passport photo transfer made easy!

For many citizens in Austria, going to the authorities will be much easier in future: the tedious printing, cutting out or scanning of passport photos will be a thing of the past.

The innovative eBild system is now available, revolutionising the passport photo transmission process.

How does the eBild system work?

The eBild system is an internet-based platform for the electronic transmission of passport photos to authorities that issue ID cards - from district authorities to magistrates and municipalities. The professional photographer transmits the electronic ID photo to the eBild system in highly encrypted form and issues a unique image identification code. This code is either handed over or, if desired, sent directly to the customer's mobile phone via SMS. In this way, the authorities can retrieve the image and create the photo ID in the highest quality.

Advantages for the customer

  1. Security: Security and the protection of personal data are paramount. The uploaded image is encrypted and can only be retrieved by the authorities using the unique eBild code. In addition, use of the system is limited in time and expires automatically, ensuring maximum anonymity.
  2. Efficiency: The tedious process of printing and scanning passport photos is completely eliminated. Customers save time and effort by transmitting the electronic ID photo directly to the eBild system.
  3. Practicality: Thanks to the eBild system, going to the authorities is much easier and more convenient. Customers no longer have to worry about obtaining and storing printed passport photos, which is particularly advantageous in times of increased digital affinity.

By adhering to the highest data protection measures and using servers exclusively in Austria, the system not only ensures maximum security, but also trust among citizens.
