The dedicated carers at MOKI look after children and young people in their familiar environment, i.e. where they feel safe and secure: at home. The programme is diverse. It ranges from home-based infant care to post-operative care and support for chronically or seriously ill children. The aim is to relieve the burden on families and to shorten or sometimes even avoid hospital stays.
An anniversary with meaning: Sparkasse Oberösterreich focusses on social commitment
In the anniversary year of World Savings Day, which is being celebrated for the 100th time this year, Sparkasse Oberösterreich is sending out a clear signal: instead of traditional World Savings Day gifts for adults, the institution is focussing on the social idea.
Under the motto "True values are not shown in gifts, but in deeds", Sparkasse Oberösterreich is consciously foregoing gifts in kind and supporting the work of MOKI with a donation of 100,000 euros. Together with the Sparkasse Oberösterreich share administration, this amount was made available to help families in Upper Austria where support really counts: in the care and support of sick children.
Sparkasse Oberösterreich is thus continuing a long tradition of regional responsibility. World Savings Day has always been a symbol not only of financial provision, but also of trust, sustainability and social commitment. In this anniversary year in particular, we want to bring these values to life and make a contribution that has a direct impact in the region.
#schongenial, how giving up gifts becomes real help, making everyday life easier for many families in Upper Austria.
