The SPIELERPASS CUP is one of the most important inclusion projects in Austrian football. The 8th tournament in this format once again demonstrated how sport builds bridges and connects people regardless of ability or disability. Every year, the large indoor tournament brings together hundreds of players from all over Austria and beyond to show what inclusion in sport really means: joy, community and mutual appreciation.

Around 300 athletes competed this year in several performance levels as well as in their own Kids Cup. Accompanied by enthusiastic spectators, the event developed into an emotional highlight of the year. In addition to the games themselves, prominent guests and dedicated helpers ensured a professional yet friendly environment. The SPIELERPASS CUP is an impressive symbol of the fact that football is for everyone.

Over the course of two days, more than 60 exciting matches were played. Around 500 spectators in the stands provided an atmospheric backdrop that turned every match into a small highlight. Numerous well-known faces from the worlds of sport and entertainment supported the event and emphasised its importance as a major inclusion project.

The Spielerpass Cup does not focus on the pressure to perform, but on working together. The competition offers people with disabilities a stage on which they can freely live out their passion for football. Full of emotion, fairness and genuine sporting enthusiasm.

Blau-Weiß Linz triumphs at champions level

This year's Player Pass Cup was a very special success for the special needs team from Blau-Weiß Linz. The team competed in the highest performance level, the so-called "Champions Level", and showed a confident and focussed performance throughout the tournament.

With great commitment, tactical understanding and impressive team spirit, Blau-Weiß Linz won victory after victory and ultimately won the tournament. The joy after the decisive success was correspondingly huge. Players, coaching staff and travelling supporters celebrated a triumph that went far beyond the sporting side of things.

Special thanks went to the coaching team led by Hasan Smajtic, whose commitment, patience and enthusiasm played a major part in the team's success. The victory shows how valuable inclusive sports projects are and how important it is to offer people with different abilities a shared stage and appreciation.

#schongenial, when top sporting performance can happen anywhere where heart, passion and cohesion are paramount.
