The Hydrogen Centre at Montanuniversität Leoben is a research facility that focuses on the development and application of hydrogen technologies. It plays an important role in research into renewable energies and the sustainable use of hydrogen as an energy carrier.
The centre works on various projects dealing with the production, storage and use of hydrogen, including the development of fuel cells and electrolysers.
