Green Tech Valley rocks the circular economy

Green Tech Valley was represented by 15 companies at IFAT, the world's leading trade fair for environmental technology in Munich. 3,100 exhibitors, 120,000 visitors from 150 countries. #It's brilliant that Austrian companies were once again able to demonstrate their innovative strength when it comes to recycling and the circular economy by presenting world firsts.

For all those who are not yet familiar with Green Tech Valley, Green Tech Valley is located in the south of Austria and is the #1 technology hotspot for climate protection & circular economy. More than 300 global green tech pioneers & technology leaders are committed to green innovation and work together with more than 20 research institutions.

In the Valley, the common is more important than the divisive and this is precisely the spirit that gives rise to world firsts and allows successes to be celebrated - including at IFAT.

At IFAT, Komptech presents the Equalizor, a new addition to the "shredder family" and launches the new "Industrial" line of machines. ANDRITZ will be showing the ADuro Shredder for efficient recycling of refrigerators and textiles and the C-Press for low-energy and low-maintenance sludge dewatering.

Binder+Co will be presenting CLARITY LIBS, a solution that precisely separates aluminium scrap into different alloy classes. REDWAVE is presenting a sorting solution for textiles that sorts materials according to defined parameters, while LINETECHNOLOGY is showcasing SORT FLUID, an innovative dry sink-float sorting system.

Saubermacher is focussing on smart waste with the Smart Collection Platform and the recyclables scanner for waste separation analysis using AI. wastebox.biz is presenting digital solutions for sustainability reporting. EUROPLAST will showcaseCO2-neutral production and the circular economy, while SLOC and SAMsoric will present intelligent solutions for waste management and fire protection.

IFE Aufbereitungstechnik presents the digitally optimised i-STEP product range, and EVK DI Kerschhaggl demonstrates the EVK HELIOS hyperspectral camera for real-time classification and analysis of materials. Lindner Recyclingtech is bringing a new universal shredder and a semi-mobile single-shaft shredder to Munich.

Green Tech Valley surprises with numerous innovations thanks to the cooperation between the MUL Montanuniversität Leoben and many companies in the ReWaste-F competence centre project. Florian Laczkovits from ANDRITZ Recycling emphasises the importance of ADuro shredder technology in this project.

It's nice to see so many positive things:
