Under the motto "Sport & Fun with the Stars", FC Blau-Weiß Linz and the FC Blau-Weiß Linz / Union Kleinmünchen football club invited visitors to join in, marvel and let off steam.
A look behind the scenes of professional football
The children were welcomed by sports director Christoph Schößwendter directly in front of the stadium. They then went on an exciting stadium tour in small groups - from the dressing room to the players' tunnel to the coaches' bench. For many of the young guests, it was the first time they had seen the inside of a football stadium. The enthusiasm was palpable - especially when the children stood in the areas where the big role models usually prepare for their matches.
Movement, team spirit and great emotions
This was followed by an active exercise programme right on the stadium pitch: dribbling, passing, goal kicks and running games were on the programme - supervised and led by players from both blue and white teams. The children took part with great motivation and enjoyment and were able to really let off steam. At the end of the programme, there was a group photo with the professionals and a small surprise for all participants.
Why is this already genial?
#It's #schongenial when children get moving with real football stars, experience team spirit and realise that sport can be a lot of fun!
