Donated plasma helps in the treatment of people with serious illnesses such as coagulation disorders, immunodeficiencies and other chronic diseases. As plasma cannot be produced artificially, many people around the world are dependent on voluntary donors!
Joint initiative for more plasma donations
Last week, Oberösterreichische Versicherung, in cooperation with the BioLife Plasma Centre, therefore sent out a strong signal for health and safety. BioLife employees were guests at Oberösterreichische Versicherung to raise awareness of the issue of plasma donation. The reason for this is that the number of plasma donors has fallen by almost a quarter compared to before the coronavirus pandemic. As plasma donations are crucial for the production of important medicines, the decline poses a significant challenge.
A commitment to people's health

Together we are creating security - both through financial security and through life-saving measures," emphasise CEO Othmar Nagl and Board Director Kathrin Kühtreiber-Leitner in unison.
