Apprentices are a crucial part of our economy - they secure expertise, innovation and competitiveness in the long term. Particularly in times of a shortage of skilled labour, it is clear how important sound and future-oriented training is. A good apprenticeship not only creates career prospects for young people, but also strengthens the companies themselves.

The long-established company Banner Batterien from Leonding is setting a good example here. With the newly built apprentice training centre, the company is setting a strong example for the sustainable promotion of young talent. Ten apprentices are currently being trained - four in the technical field (electrical engineering and mechatronics) and six in commercial professions (wholesale and IT systems technology).

Technology meets practice - ideal conditions for young talent

The new centre offers ideal conditions for technical apprentices in particular: a spacious, modern training room, practical workstations and an environment that inspires enthusiasm for technology and development. Training at Banner is practice-orientated, contemporary - and conveys far more than just technical knowledge.

More than just training - a culture of learning and growing

The trainers at Banner see themselves as companions: With commitment, patience and expertise, they support young people in realising their potential. The focus is on developing personality, personal responsibility and team spirit - key skills for a successful future.

Managing Director Werner Töpfl emphasises:
"Our apprentices are an essential part of the Banner family. With the new training centre, we want to give them the best possible start to their careers - professionally, personally and with prospects."

Outstanding achievement: mechatronics apprentice shines

A current example of the success of this strategy is mechatronics trainee Kilian, who completed his final apprenticeship examination with honours. "This outstanding achievement is proof of Kilian's commitment, his technical skills and his determination throughout his apprenticeship at Banner Batterien," emphasises Stefan Altof, Head of Industrial Engineering and Training Manager for Technical Apprentices at Banner GmbH.

It's nice to see so many positive things:
