SpaceTech start-ups at the Technical Museum
The exhibition presents a fascinating range of SpaceTech innovations from start-ups, universities of applied sciences and research institutions in Lower Austria. They are supported by tecnet and the technology incubator accent. Not only technical achievements are presented here, but also the people who created them. From young researchers to experienced experts - they have all contributed to this impressive collection.
A look into space
The economic importance of space is also huge for Austria. Space technology plays a decisive role in the area of climate protection in particular. But the possible applications are many and varied, from weather services to communication and navigation - space offers a wealth of opportunities and challenges.
The future of space at the Technical Museum
A highlight of the exhibition is undoubtedly the presentation of ENPULSION, a Lower Austrian SpaceTech start-up that has already left its mark in orbit with its "NEO" engine. Within just a few years, the company has developed into a global market leader and impressively demonstrates the potential of the Austrian SpaceTech sector. However, ENPULSION is just one of a total of eight start-ups and research projects represented in this exhibition. From satellite cryptography and gas distribution and pressurisation systems to innovative satellite projects and transport drones - the diversity and inventiveness of the projects on show are impressive.
And this is just the beginning: Director General Peter Aufreiter reveals that the Vienna Technical Museum is already working on a larger space area. A promising future prospect for all space enthusiasts. Visitors to the exhibition have the opportunity to discover these fascinating SpaceTech innovations from Lower Austria and take a look into the infinite expanses of space until 26 May.
