Art as an occasion for encounters
The theme of the first exhibition was "Time Travel". The two artists Brigitte Längle and Günter Pollhammer presented works that took the public on a visual journey through different eras, emotions and perspectives. Lively conversations quickly developed between the expressive pictures: guests stopped, exchanged impressions and discussed art as well as professional topics and personal experiences.
It was precisely this mixture that made the event so special. The vernissage offered space for exchange, encounters and getting to know each other personally. Many guests met people for the first time with whom they had previously only had contact by phone or email.
Dialogue over art, drinks and snacks
This dialogue continued over drinks and snacks. People talked shop, laughed and discussed - about art as well as current topics from everyday working life. The relaxed atmosphere made it easy to talk to each other and make new contacts. The idea behind the new "Kunst am Hof" format was particularly appreciated: Bringing people from different areas together and creating a platform where art becomes a unifying element.
The "Time Travels" exhibition will now be on display on the first floor of the gswb for six months. The series will then be continued with other artists. The successful launch has already shown how much interest there is in this format.

#schongenial when art is made accessible to a broader target group in such a low-threshold way.
