What makes Fit-Up special is its focus on community and sustainability. This is because exercise is not just seen as a private goal here, but as part of a lively corporate culture. Regular challenges - such as the Fit-Up New Year's Challenge - provide an incentive to get going together, motivate each other and stay active over several weeks.
The effect is remarkable: exercise in the working environment not only strengthens the body and mind, but also has a demonstrably positive effect on motivation, performance and team cohesion. Companies benefit twice over - from healthier employees and stronger team spirit.
OÖ Versicherung: Exercise knows no national borders
Oberösterreichische Versicherung has been part of the Fit-Up programme since 2022 - and took part in the Austria-wide New Year's Challenge for the first time this year. The result is impressive: With 47 sporty and active employees from Upper Austria, Styria and Germany, the company came second out of 15 participating companies.
During the two months, the teams from the back office and field service showed full commitment. Whether jogging, skiing, cycling or walking - every activity was counted and contributed to the overall success. The certificate was officially presented on 10 April.
General Manager Nagl, himself a keen skier and tennis player, is proud of his team:
"We wanted to burn calories and get fitter together, and we proved that impressively."
The social and health benefits are also key for him:
"Sport is an essential counterbalance to everyday office life, and I'm convinced that it can also minimise stress and sick leave. It also promotes team building.
We were simply looking forward to getting started together and showing what our company is capable of."
#schongenial when an entire company gets moving and combines sporting ambition with team spirit.
