Little kickers, sport & fun with the stars

A morning full of action and enthusiasm awaited around 100 school starters from the Garnisonstraße, Am Hartmayrgut and Reischekstraße childcare centres recently.

As part of the city's "Sport & Fun with the Stars" exercise programme, they had the unique opportunity to experience the professional footballers of FC Blau-Weiß Linz and the FC Blau-Weiß Linz / Union Kleinmünchen football team up close at the Hofmann Personal Stadium. It was an unforgettable experience for the young talents, who dribbled with their big idols, exchanged passes and received valuable tips from Bundesliga professionals.

A day with the football heroes of Blau-Weiß Linz

It was a day full of unforgettable moments for the children, while the professionals from FC Blau-Weiß Linz and the FC Blau-Weiß Linz / Union Kleinmünchen football team also worked up a sweat.

The managing director of FC Blau-Weiß Linz, Christoph Peschek, expressed his delight at the successful cooperation with the city of Linz and emphasised the importance of inspiring young fans for the club. In addition to the football training session, the children had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at the stadium, collect stamps and get to know their stars during an exclusive Q&A session. The autograph session and the opportunity to take photos with the professionals rounded off the eventful day.
