Reconciling work and private life is a daily challenge for many people. Especially when caring for relatives is added to professional responsibilities - a situation that is emotionally demanding and organisationally complex.

This is precisely where Salzburg AG comes in: With a new cooperation with the "because-we.care" platform, it offers its employees targeted support in stressful phases of life - digital, low-threshold and true-to-life.

Because many people forget this: Caring for parents, partners or other loved ones is suddenly a reality for many in the middle of their professional lives. At the same time, care in the work context is often an invisible topic that is rarely talked about - even though it affects a great many people. Salzburg AG is making this topic visible and actively helping to shape how modern working environments can also become more humane.

Digital support for everyday care

Thanks to the cooperation with "because-we.care", all employees of Salzburg AG and its subsidiaries have access to a comprehensive digital platform that offers information, guidance and concrete help on all aspects of care issues - from acute care to long-term care. Topics such as care leave, family hospice leave, dementia care or rehabilitation leave are explained in a structured and understandable way. There are also checklists, planning aids and a telephone hotline that offers support even in acute situations.

What makes it special: The platform is practical, orientated towards everyday life and was specially developed for people who are heavily involved in their work and at the same time care for relatives - a reality that also affects many at Salzburg AG.

Compatibility with attitude

The co-operation with "because-we.care" is a further step by Salzburg AG towards a holistic approach to reconciling work and private commitments. It complements existing measures such as company-organised childcare, flexible working time models, mobile working options and support services during parental leave.

"We not only want to offer our employees a secure job, but also genuine support in all situations.

Care is part of life - and should also be part of a modern understanding of the employer,"

emphasises Michael Baminger, CEO of Salzburg AG.

Diversity as a responsibility

Salzburg AG sees diversity, equal opportunities and inclusion not as a compulsory exercise, but as a strategic foundation of its corporate culture. As part of its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Management, it focuses specifically on measures that address different life situations - with the aim of creating an environment for all employees that enables development and participation.

The new cooperation expands this approach to include an often overlooked but extremely relevant topic. After all, diversity also manifests itself where people take responsibility - for others and for themselves.

#It is #schongenial when corporate responsibility does not end at the workplace, but employees can also count on the understanding and support of their company in private, challenging times."

It's nice to see so many positive things:
