Austrian cookbook "Geschmackshochzeit 3", published by the renowned Wieser-Verlag in cooperation with the Klagenfurt Tourist Board, was honoured with the coveted title of best city cookbook in the world at the prestigious World Cookbook Award.

This honour is not only a triumph for Austrian cuisine, but also a celebration of the creative collaboration between the publishing house and the tourism association.

The World Cookbook Award, chaired by spirits legend Edouard Cointreau, is an annual event that recognises thousands of cookbooks from around the world. Amid intense competition, "Taste Wedding 3" managed to triumph not only in the Cities category but also in the Multilingual category, which is a remarkable achievement and emphasises the versatility of the work.

This book series was created to accompany the "Days of Alps-Adriatic Cuisine", an event organised by the Klagenfurt Tourist Board since 2018. In an impressive mix of researched stories, innovative discoveries and illuminating insights, the book presents recipes from outstanding chefs, along with valuable tips on regional producers. The book is written in the three languages of the region: German, Slovenian and Italian, which emphasises its cross-border reach and significance.
