backaldrin International - The Kornspitz Company, based in Asten near Linz, is a leading international family business in the baking ingredients industry. Founded in 1964, the baking ingredient manufacturer's range now includes over 800 products, which are now supplied to 129 countries.

Production takes place at eight production sites. In addition to the headquarters in Asten, there are also production sites in Switzerland, Jordan, South Africa, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine and China. For over 60 years, backaldrin has stood for quality, innovation and comprehensive service.

The team of export master bakers plays a special role. Under the leadership of Hermann Lang, they travel around the globe to support customers and partners worldwide and pass on their knowledge. In an interview with schongenial.at, Hermann Lang explains what makes this work so special.

schongenial.at: What role does backaldrin's international focus play?
Hermann Lang: It is at the core of our success. With locations worldwide, we can be close to our customers and respond flexibly to local needs. Every market has its own traditions and specialities. The service concept is always our top priority. This is how we create trust and long-term partnerships.

schongenial.at: What exactly do the export master bakers do?
Hermann Lang: They are bridge builders. Our team of eight works directly with local customers and partners on site, demonstrating the optimal use of our products and adapting recipes to local conditions. At the same time, we learn from regional traditions, which then flow into new developments. It's a real dialogue.

schongenial.at: What makes these assignments special?
Hermann Lang: The enormous variety. In one country we support artisan bakeries, in another large bakeries with state-of-the-art equipment. Our foremen therefore not only need technical skills, but also a feel for languages and cultural sensitivity. Every assignment brings something new - that makes the work challenging, but also enriching.

schongenial.at: Can you give us an example?
Hermann Lang: 25 years ago, the Arab market was still difficult. Today, we produce in Jordan and supply over 70 countries from there. We produce both classic Arabic breads and European pastries, adapted to local flavours. This shows how successful long-term cooperation can be.

schongenial.at: Hardly any two days are the same in your job, are they?
Hermann Lang: Yes, absolutely. Every journey brings new challenges - different raw materials, machines or expectations. This variety keeps us flexible and ensures that we are constantly developing both professionally and personally.

schongenial.at: What significance do the export master bakers have for backaldrin?
Hermann Lang: They are our faces in the world. Their work creates close customer relationships and trust. At backaldrin, we don't just sell products, we sell solutions - and thus help to keep baking culture alive worldwide.

#It is #schongenial that export bakers not only impart product expertise, but also connect cultures and thus build real bridges between people worldwide.

It's nice to see so many positive things:
